CEO
Clinton Arnold
Dr. Clinton B. Arnold serves as Chief Executive Officer of the Kanawha Institute for Social Research and Action (KISRA), leading efforts in reentry services, affordable housing, workforce development, and community-based initiatives across West Virginia. He brings more than 30 years of leadership experience spanning Fortune 100 corporations, nonprofit management, entrepreneurship, and higher education. Dr. Arnold previously held senior leadership roles at Verizon Communications and later owned and successfully exited a small business. He is also an Assistant Professor of Marketing and Business at West Virginia State University and holds a Doctor of Business Administration from Marshall University.

KISRA Reentry Program Manager
Kristen Olsen
Kristen Olsen is a certified teacher with ten years of public school experience and a trauma-informed educator with an MPA earned at the top of her class from West Virginia State University. She serves as a lead developer of Pathway Academy—a trauma-informed, recovery-focused curriculum currently being expanded through grant support—and teaches mental health, healthy relationships, parenting tools and life-skills education across West Virginia through her work in the non-profit sector.

Susan Graves
Susan Graves is an Experienced Certified Public Accountant with a demonstrated history of working in the accounting industry. Skilled in Budgeting, Account Reconciliation, Accounting, Payroll Processing, and General Ledger. Strong accounting professional graduated from Marshall University.

Community Engagement Specialist/ Manager
Sherry Jackson
Sherry Jackson has been employed with KIRSA for 13 years. Her job is very fulfilling and humbling. She works with individuals who are diagnosed with a Mental illness and/or a history of substance abuse. Her job consists of helping individuals with obtaining housing food medications transportation to Psychiatric appointments and utility assistance, as well as providing monthly outings and socialization and much more our goal is to provide services that will help them become stable and thrive in the community.

Sa'Quaia Walker
Sa'quaia Walker brings four years of dedicated experience in community action services, specializing in eliminating barriers for low-income populations. As a mother, wife, and breast cancer survivor, she understands firsthand the challenges families face and brings both compassion and resilience to her work. Her mission is simple: helping people access the resources and support they need to thrive.

Darius Booker
Darius Booker is a Program Manager for the PREP program at KISRA and a graduate of the University of Charleston. His background spans leadership, team building, and organizational development, strengthened by his experience as a college student-athlete. Passionate about innovation and technology, he is driven by a commitment to continuous learning and impactful program delivery.

TySean Lynch
James Lynch, of Charleston, WV, believes strongly in growth, second chances, and doing work that genuinely matters. He values real, honest connection and is passionate about creating spaces where learning and healing can happen. His focus is helping others move forward with clarity, confidence, and purpose—no matter where they’re starting from.

Shelby Harmeyer
Shelby Harmeyer is a West Virginia State University graduate with both a bachelor’s and master’s degree and currently serves the community through her work at KISRA. Alongside her professional role, she continues her athletic career as a professional basketball player. Shelby is committed to uplifting others both on and off the court.
